The project titled “Integrated Emergency Humanitarian Response to the Rohingya and Host Community Population in Cox’s Bazar” is a Christian Aid (CAID) led consortium project where Dushtha Shasthya Kendra (DSK), Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) and INGO partners World Vision and Concern Worldwide are the consortium members, which was started from August 2019. The project has been supported by DFID and managed by UNOPS. DSK joined in this consortium at its 3rd phase as the replacement of GUK. The consortium project has been working in five sectors: (i) Food Security, Livelihood and Market; (ii) Nutrition; (iii) Health; (iv) Protection and (v) WASH.
DSK engages in three sectors that include Food Security, Livelihood and Market, Protection and WASH and serve 1,00,250 Rohingya people (Male: 49,256 and Female: 50,294) in the camp 14, 15 and 18, and 1,070 Host community people (Male: 480 and Female: 590) under Ukhya upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
Under the project, DSK has been contributing to achieve 3 specific outcomes and 9 outputs as the changes/results at the end of the projects:
