Since 1988 DSK has been serving humanity to break poverty chain. Among many cluster of this poverty chain “Access to education” is one of them. And DSK is putting her efforts to diminish this social drawback. Hence, aiming SDG goal 4 & 5, on 24th May 2022, we DSK organized a scholarship giving ceremony to recognize the meritorious marginal students for their commitment towards education. Honorable Mst. Rahima Akhter, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Narayongonj Sadar was present there as chief guest and Md. Rifat Ferdous Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Narayongonj Sadar, Md. Rejaur Rahman, Deputy Director (DD), DSK-Micro-credit, Md. Aminur Rahman, Area Manager of DSK-Micro-credit, Narayonganj-01 were present as special guest. Scholarship (in Cash) is given to total 43 students who passed in PSC (Primary School Certificate) BDT 8,000, JSC (Junior School Certificate) BDT 10,000, SSC (Secondary School Certificate) BDT 12,000 and HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) BDT 25,000. Both students and their parents were thankful, cheerful and hopeful throughout the ceremony. This novel program was anchored by Nusrat Zorin Khan, Training & Documentation Officer of DSK-SEP.
