“Shamokal” a National Daily reported on November 29, 2007 that DSK with support from DanChurchAid food relief at Sharankhola of Bagerhat district. DSK's director program Dr. M Quader PhD was present during the distribution. A total of 1200 food packets were distributed. Each packet contained Rice 30 kg, Lentils 4 kg, Potato 12 kg, Soya bin oil 2 KG, Salt 1 KG, 15 pcs Wax candle, 1 blanket, 1 soap, 1 dozen match box etc.
