DSK Climate Change Adaptation Project
Due to increasing salinity in river water and change in the weather pattern and frequency in extreme weather events, farmers required to adjust with the changing environment and adopt alternate agriculture practices.In order to help them this project started.

Accomplishments:
- People received training on alternate agriculture and the establishment of demonstration plots.
- People got aware regarding disaster risk management and access to WASH and engagement with government departments such as Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE), Department of Livestock (DL), Department of Fisheries (DoF), Union Parishad(UP) and Thana Nirbahi Officer (TNO) offices.
- Target farmers received training regarding IPM (integrated pest management), Horticulture, Sandbar, market analysis and the value chain management
- Rainwater harvesting was promoted and 216 household water tanks were distributed on loan.
