These initiatives will focus on improving the lives of poor and ultra-poor communities\, particularly women\, Indigenous peoples\, and marginalized populations living in haor\, coastal\, and disaster-prone areas. Key programme areas include healthcare\, water\, sanitation and hygiene (WASH)\, microfinance\, livelihoods\, disaster risk reduction and climate resilience\, environmental and biodiversity conservation\, relief and rehabilitation\, non-formal education\, prevention of gender-based violence\, and public awareness. \nSince its establishment in 1988\, DSK has remained committed to building a poverty-free\, self-reliant\, and socially secure Bangladesh\, inspired by the spirit of the Liberation War and driven by the vision of an equitable and humane society. \nThe approval of the BDT 5\,019.91 crore budget marks a significant milestone in DSK’s continued growth. It reflects the organization’s expanding capacity\, wider programme reaches\, and enduring commitment to improving the lives of marginalized and underserved communities across Bangladesh.
