The 17th BCCM (Bangladesh Country Coordination Mechanism) NGO Constituency Consultation Meeting took place on June 8, 2023, at Rosemary Hall at the Tokyo Square Convention Center. BCCM is a global mechanism through which a country receives necessary resources from the Global Fund (GF) to combat HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. BCCM oversees the GF Grants implementations and makes decisions on the GF Grants for TB, Malaria, HIV and C19RM (COVID-19 Response and Recovery Mechanism). DSK for the first time acquired the membership of this platform and also got elected to the steering committee without any publicity. For the next three years, DSK will represent NGO Constituency in the Women and Children category. There are other NGO sub constituencies i.e. Malaria, Tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS. There are some other constituencies in this platform, they are, Key affected populations, People living with Diseases, Academia and researchers, the Private Sector and Faith-based organizations.
