Values
DSK believes that Bangladesh was born in 1971, through a glorious liberation struggle. Its architects aspired for and dreamed about an independent, secular, diverse, humane, democratic, egalitarian state and society that was coined in the four basic principles inscribed in the National Constitution. DSK was established in line with the above spirit and feels that the organization shall be fully committed to implementing its projects with utmost sincerity, openness, honesty, transparency, and accountability for the benefit of poor people who are systematically and painfully denied of their rights and entitlements. In alignment with core values, DSK will persist in fostering a culture of participatory democratic practices to operate and manage the organization. DSK will continue to champion effectiveness, efficiency, teamwork, gender-sensitivity, capacity-building and adherence to the spirit of an egalitarian society and secular practices within the organization.
