Fifty-nine non-formal education centers were put up in Durgapur and Kalmakanda upazilas of Netrokona district. Total number of students was 1,794. A total of forty-eight education centers were put up in Bandar, Pahartoli, Double Mooring, Chandgaon and Panchlaish police stations of Chattogram City Corporation. This was done having assistance and support from Bureau of Non-Formal Education and the BRAC. The total number of students in these educational centers was 1,440. As many as forty-five students dropped out due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and 1,395 were regular. The project started in October 2019, and will continue till March 2022. In addition, since May 2019, DSK has been running ten non formal learning centers in Durgapur of Netrokona district from its own resources. The total number of students in these centers were three hundred. At present, the students are in the third grade.
